Our Beginning

In the Heartland of America, amidst a mix of farm and city life, Bitzy became a part of our family. She was a whirlwind of energy and boundless enthusiasm. Bitzy was a beloved member of our family. However, her mischievous nature and endless energy often led to escapades that left us worried for her safety. One fateful day, while taking her for a walk in our city park, she escaped from yet another harness. That’s when we realized the urgent need for a harness that would keep her secure yet allow her to roam freely. We also wanted something to show off how adorable she was. So, we embarked on a mission to create the perfect harness, one that would combine safety with style. Soon word spread about our designs and Bitzy’s (The Business) was born. The result, two harness lines, Bitzy Couture for girls and Ruff Lauren for boys. Safety with style, form with function.

But our commitment to Bitzy’s well-being extended beyond her safety. She had such a sensitive stomach and struggled with traditional types of dog food and treats. Determined to provide her with the best possible nutrition, we embarked on another journey to develop dog food and treats tailored to meet her sensitive needs. After extensive research and collaboration with various canine nutritionists, we formulated a line of dog food and treats that was palatable, packed with essential nutrients and set well with her sensitive stomach. It then was only natural to add Bitzy’s Bistro Dog Food and Treats to our lines so other pet owners could have the same benefits for their pets.
